01490: This is a large Art Deco faience oval jardinère from
the famous K&G Lunéville factory. Click
<HERE.>
This vintage pot is in overall good condition, but does have a
couple of flaws. The top edge shows a little wear. The pot has three very faint hairlines
and a minimal scrape, as show in the photos
<HERE> and
<HERE.> The
dramatic Art Deco design is "Percola." The signature can be seen
<HERE.>
An illegible raised stamp on the outside is likely the artist's mark

01210: This charming little French Art Deco frame has a curly maple
wood base and Bakelite sides. The glass is paired with a piece of
card; the two slide into a slot in the Bakelite sides as can be seen
in the pictures. To display a photo, slide the glass and card out,
insert the photo between the glass and card and re-insert into the
Bakelite slots. Overall good condition, although the corner of the
glass has a small chip. Two more views

07853: Here are five ivory-handled French knives from the late 19th
century (pre-ban ivory), signed "Touron Paisot, Seur, Medaille d'Or
Expon 1867, Rue de la Paix, 24, Paris" - view
<HERE>. Touron Parisot
was famous for fine-quality knives and straight razors and won the
gold medal at the 1867 Paris Exposition. As can be seen in the
photos, the blades have some discoloration. There are cracks in the

06966: Here is a most charming antique clock for a lady's dressing table or boudoir. Purchased in France, but of Swiss manufacture, this clock has a decorated dial, a gilt case, a pink marble base and a fine-quality mechanical movement. This clock has been in a vault for a number of years, so needs to be serviced. 03740: This is a very large faïence (ceramic) platter from the
well-known French company, Sarreguemines. The charming floral motif
includes poppies, daisies, wheat and bluebells on an off-white

06419: This is an unusual French Art Deco picture frame with a solid
marble base. The asymmetrical chrome faceted posts on each side
support a double glass insert. The glass slides out and the photo
goes between the plates. The base is original, the glass plates are

07661: This is a group of five French dinner knives with ebony handles. As can be seen from the photo, the five are from two different sets. 07467: This is an original Wallace Nutting hand-tinted photo of a
country lane and cherry trees from the early 20th century. Original
frame and matte. Signed W. Nutting. Good condition, although there
is a small light spot near the upper right corner as can be seen in
the photo. The frame measures 9.75" wide x 7.5" high with the
photograph measuring 3 7/8" wide x 3" high. $55.00 USD |

08194: Here is a silver-plate stag horn fish serving set from circa
1900 in the original satin-lined box. Both the blade of the knife
and the fork are engraved with flowers and tiny birds. Micro view
<HERE.>The set is in
very good condition with minimal use, although the box is fragile.
The knife is 14"L and the fork is 10.75"L. There are no hallmarks,
so I'm guessing this is American Victorian. $95.00 the set |
