07748: This French Art Nouveau antique fabric has a deep carnelian background with a large-scale foreground motif of meandering artichokes, done in muted tones. Sprinkled amongst the large artichokes are tiny nosegays. The pattern repeat is 15.5". The artichoke motif measures 6.75". 07450: There are three pieces of this pretty medium-weight 19th
century French cotton print fabric. The background is a creamy
off-white. The foreground motif is an all-over scattered floral
which includes stylized tulips, windblown peonies and roses. The
colors are in the muted sun-drenched shades of a late-autumn

depicting two exotic birds perched on a baskets of fruits and
flowers. This motif has a yellow background with stylized rendition
of trellis and vines. A lovely and unusual collectible. This piece

07075: There are four pieces of this muted floral from the late 19th century. The background is a soft, medium, very calm green. The foreground motif is of daylilies and tiny posies, floating in a random pattern. This motif is one that shows elements of 19th century textile design as well as hints of 20th century design. 06555: There are three pieces of this unusual medium-heavy cotton
print fabric from the late 19th century. The background is a very
deep blue. Scattered randomly across this blue field are beautiful
and varied dahlias. The scattered pattern is non-directional, so
this fabric could be used in many different ways. Each piece

02037: This is a rarely-seen 'kelsh' or featherbed pillow cover from
the Alsace region of France. Most 'kelsh' are woven in reds and
blues of a good sturdy, yet soft cotton. This one is hand-stitched and is like a large pillowcase with a button
closure on one end as shown in the photo. The photo shows the kelsh
folded. 31" wide x 50" doubled, this piece can be used
as it is as a covering for a large cushion or could be re-worked for

06117: Here are two large pieces of a 19th century deep red cotton
fabric which were originally part of a set of bed-hangings. The
foreground motif is scattered flowers that are shaded in dark green,
deeper red and black. Red was a very popular color for
