French 19C floral fabric
06970: This 19th century fabric is a sturdy cotton, but is softly faded from years of laundering. The background is off-white. The large-scale floral motif of raggedy dahlias is done in soft shades of brown, tan, cream, ivory and ice blue. This piece measures 33"W x 65"L. The upper half has quite a few pale freckles and the piece does have some color variation. 19th century

French vintage silk sample 08391: This luxurious piece is silk sample from the 1950s. The motif is a traditional pattern, recalling elegant days of 18th century France. The background is a warm wine tone and the foreground motif is in rich golden shades with accents in black. There is a weaving flaw that crosses the upper left part of the pattern and would likely distract from some uses of this piece. Close-up <HERE.> 26"W x 30"H, Circa 1950

French vintage ticking
08895: Here is a French vintage ticking with wide deep cherry red stripes that alternate with groups of shaded stripes that vary from a tan-yellow to pale cream. This is a pretty ticking, but does have a group of spots at one end as well as a couple of other small spots. 42"W x 28"H.

French antique cotton fabric 08310: This exotic percale-weight cotton fabric has an inky-black background and a foreground motif that is a mixture of feathery ferns and full-blown summer roses! The delicate fern fronds are printed in several shades of green which gives them a realistic appearance. The roses are in muted reds and ivory. french antique fabric 07482: There are two very large pieces of this medium-heavy cotton with a slight pebble-y texture. The background is off-white with a tone-on-tone architectural motif that includes lace, hearts and scallops. romantic french antique fabric 08411: Here are two pieces of faded, romantic French floral medium-weight cotton print fabric with an off-white background. The large ovals of muted yellow roses are surrounding bouquets of pale mauve-y roses. The ovals are intertwined, making for a unified and serene pattern. Each piece measures 45"W(seam) x 45"H. There are some small holes and a few places that have been darned, which is why these pieces are on discount. 08305: Here is a large piece of vintage Roomaker cotton toile print, inspired by French 18th century toiles de Jouy. This vat-dyed cotton has an off-white background and a lovely woodland scenic print of flowers and trees with an additional tiny scene depicting French women tending the grapevines. 43"W x 84"H. Overall good condition with a couple of small spots. Ca. 1960

French vintage embroidery on velvet 01496: This charming piece of embroidered dark wine cotton velvet appears to have been part of a pillow or cushion. The basket motif was lovingly hand-stitched.
